Oh yeah

And I also apparently slept on my middle finger last night so now I can't stretch it out. It's in a constant crooked position, makin it look like a witches finger, awesome....

Today....

I woke up in the middle of the nigth with an aching ear. Apparently I had been sleeping on it, folding the cartilage in some weird way. It hurted soooooooo bad. I wonder if it has got something to do w the pregnancy cause it has happened a couple of times lately.
Anyhoodle, I went back to sleep, woke up WAY too early from hubbys alarm warning us for the russian invasion (I kid you not, it's the most alarming alarm EVER). So, after the second alarm went off I decided it was about time to get up. It was already 9:40am (good god), so I got up, turned on the TV, got a spare cover, threw meeself on the couch in front of the TV, kitty came to cuddle and stayed w me for a couple of hours, got up and poured me some Proviva, got back to the couch, finaly started to feel hungry so I got up around 12:30 to heat up some leftovers, got back to the couch, ate some, ran to the bathroom (and we all know what happens in there with pregnant women), went back to the couch, waited a while then tried to eat some more and here I am, eagerly awaiting my body's next move, yuk.

I'm so frikkin' hungry but whenever I eat I feel nauseous, aaaaaaaaahhhh. And I'm so god damn cold all the time. I walk around at home wearing both mine and beau's clothes, crazy. I feel tired, exhausted, cranky, nauseous, my hair is NOT getting all the volume they talk about you getting when preggers, nooooo it's getting greasy and flat, nice huh. So I'm wondering when all this pregnancy glow is gonna kick in. I'm expecting it to hit REAL hard when it does!!!

Wtf?

Seriously, wtf do they put in the childrens food these days? I was just trying to watch "Svenska Hollywoodfruar" but I got stuck watching "Matakuten" (Food-ER). For all you parents who still haven't seen the show, and for all you parents-to-be, and for all you who don't even have a thought on makin any babies (yup, it's good for you as well) I only have one thing to say: WATCH THE SHOW!!!!

It gives you an inside-look on how bad the food the serve to kids these days really is. Its STUFFED with additives (E-numbers and all sorts of nasty stuff) that can by themself cause all sorts of developement-disorders, cancer etc etc. When combining all these lovely additives (I think they counted to around 50 different additives in the childrens food EACH WEEK) into a poisenous coctail (as it happens when you serve the kids these kinds of foods EVERY DAY) you don't even want to think about what it does to the poor kids bodies.
Childhood is such a precious time and so many important organs are being developed, preparing them to function properly for the rest of their lifes. These food-additives should be banned for good, companies who puts them in food should be brought before a court and sentenced to a life eating ONLY additives.

Usually Im pretty darn picky about additives in my food. An being pregnant has made me even more picky since a lot of these additives can cause damages to the fetus (I did eat way too much Cheetos tonight, but after watching the show it was the last serving of Cheetos I assure you). So when I now crave foods, I want to make sure I still eat good produce for not only myself, but for my unborn child. So the other day when I was at the grocerystore I just got this major craving for the swedish delicacy mustard herring (Senapssill). Of course I bought meeself a jar of organic herring. I ate the whole jar in three days. After finshing it I looked on the back to see what it actually contained: herring, mustard, additives and preservatives. Wtf? When my grandma made herring she did NOT have to add any additives or preservatives and her herring was the best tasting herring ever.
No wonder people today say: Why can't we eat this and that. People have been eating it for a long time without getting sick/fat/obese etc etc. But I tell you, eating a jar of mustard herring with some boiled potatoes today ain't the same as it was eating it 100 years ago. Then the herring didn't contain any of the heavy metals (no, NOT the music) it does today as our oceans are being polluted, the spices were more nutritious than they are today as the soil they grew in were more nutritious and they werent sprayed with all sorts of pesticides, there was no need for additives since all the other ingredients were so tasty, the potato contained way more nutrients as (just as for the spices) the soil they grew in were more nutritious and they werent sprayed with a coctail of pesticides. That's right, 100 years ago you didn't need any low GI-diets, Atkins, Weight Watchers etc etc to stay healthy and fit, all you had to do was to eat good food. Today it's almost impossible to eat well, since even the organic food contains some sort of toxins coming from the rain, air, soil etc. It's not the carbohydrates from the potato makin' you unhealthy pepole, it's the lack of potato in the potato! (yup, I actually meant to write it like that. A potato today is not really a potato, it's a god damn rip off!!!). If you go to LIDL to by the "nice loooking veggies" they have there, just think for a second before you do. What are you actually paying for? In my opinion you might as well go get a plastic banana, then at least you get what you pay for...

This summer I read an article in the newspaper about a test being made in the north of Sweden where they are going to add fluoride into some preschool-kids's milk, to see if that migth give them less cavities. The parents had to sign a waiver and agree to all this. Anyone ever wonder why you didn't get to swallow the fluoride when the fluoride-lady came to school when you were a kid?? IT CAUSES CANCER, that's why. So now these parents have signed a paper letting these scientists perform this test on their kids. Do they even know what they signed? The scientists AND the parents should be charged with child abuse!!!!

Oh yeah, after watchin the show we've deffinately made up our minds: our kids are not gonna go to public pre-school and regular school as long as this is the case with the food they serve there. Private childcare and private schools is the name of the game, I dont care if I have to work five full-time jobs to afford it. I will NOT expose my kids to that kind of crappy food, yuk!

Oooooh!

I mean how cute is this:

From Franck & Fischer. Organic of course =)

Lookin' for a ninja?

Well, we don't yet know what's gonna come out of my stomach next year, but I think we can all agree on that it's probably gonna be an active little one. We've started to look around and buy some clothes for our precious. Of course we're looking for organic stuff. We feel that it's pretty important that the babyclothes does not contain any chemicals of any sort (very common today), they can cause allergic reactions and damage the immunesystem. Luckily most clothing stores nowdays has a clothingline that's organic or has been tested for harmful chemicals, awesome!

We found this organic little piece online, and we just HAD to buy it:

Isn't it awesome!

Today...

...I'm feelin nauseous for the first time, not good.....

This week....

We've told people that WE'RE PREGNANT!!!! It's sooooo cool, it's amazing, I just can't describe the feeling. So even if I'm not that great at this updating-thing in my blog, at least I will be updating my condition week-by-week =)

Week 7

(counting from first day of last menstrual period)
Around 5 Weeks After Conception

Please keep in mind that this information is approximate. Each pregnancy is different and growth rates vary. If you have any questions, please check with your care provider.

Fetal Development:
I'm Tiny But Gaining Fast!
The baby is about 1/3 of an inch, the size of a grain of rice. Development of the arms and legs continue although the fingers and toes haven't yet formed. The brain is growing as well as the lenses of the eyes, nostrils, intestines, pancreas and bronchi.
Maternal Changes:
This week tends to be like last week with the usual symptoms of early pregnancy continuing. You're not showing yet and may have lost a few pounds or gained a few pounds. Both are normal at this stage.

Fostrets utveckling - gravid vecka 7

Update!

So I havent been really good at this whole updating thing recently. I guess I should be happy, it's a good sign though. Been really busy w Dinali Center n other stuff (like life).

Anyhoodle. Were off to celebrate our first anniversary today. The actual anniversary is tomorrow, but were leaving for Gävle today, spending the night at a nice hotel, going out for good foods and drinks. It's really crazy to think that a year ago I was still Diana Morin, hadn't started my company yet, was all stressed out about the wedding, work, etc etc. So where am I now?
Well, still a bit stressed. But my company is expanding, I've hired one girl as a pole dance instructor and will be hiring anotherone in a couple of weeks. I have alltogehter 4 girls that are under teacher training, worked my way up from 16 students (first semester) to 40 as for now. I'm married to the bestest husband in the world, got a new awesome last name, live in a big-ass house, hear the birds chirpin' when I wake up in the morning, off to see my ladies in L.A in 5 weeks (awesome!), could it be any better?

Got no pics to post (still). Forgot my camera upstairs and since our house is soooooo big, it's way to tiring to walk all the way upstairs to get the darn thing, walk back down again to transfer and post, and then walk back up.
So this is all you get today folks, enjoy!
